Helps prevent the back-flow of fuel from your carburetor back into the gas tank. Especially important in a Ruckus GY6 150 where the fuel tank is well below the carb level. If all of the fuel flows back out of your carb and into the tank then there won’t be fuel at the carb when you attempt to start the bike. The name says it all – this device flows fuel in one direction only.
