Description
When your factory vacuum valve fails it will continue to flow fuel even when the bike is not running. This fuel will continue to flow into your carburetor. If the carb needle and seat is not very strong this fuel flow could overflow into your intake and make it difficult to start when the bike has sat for a while. Factory vacuum valves are very common fail items. If you pull the fuel supply line off the carb inlet and fuel continues to flow when the bike is off then your valve is bad. Here is a good quality replacement at a fraction of the cost of the OE unit.
