Striking black gloss with metal flake bodywork – one of a kind!

The goal with this creation was to make a BWS bug-eye as fast as possible while keeping its secrets as hidden as possible.   The goal was 25HP with a relatively stock appearance.   Introducing Ben Johnson, one of our favourite creations!

Ground up build, no detail or cost spared!

• Cases machined – crank lobe areas widened, all casting marks smoothed, strategic trench work, cylinder opening port matched to cylinder gaskets.
• Malossi 86cc Big Bore liquid cooled cylinder kit  – set up with a degree wheel, ported to our signature race spec (RPM range perfectly set up for this exhaust), ring gapped, squish set up for race gas.
• Malossi MHR Big Bore matching crankshaft, Malossi c4 crank bearings, Malossi viton crank seals (complete top and bottom end all brand matching)
• Yasuni C30 carbon Kevlar exhaust (makes 16k+)
• Malossi Overrange transmission kit – Overrange variator, over size ventilvar, modified oversize rear torque driver , red contra spring, Malossi delta clutch, Malossi winged bell – very high engagement, grips like crazy! – complete CVT all brand matched.
• New Malossi primary final drive gears – all straight cut, all perfectly matched to this engines power.
• Stage 6 large bore intake and VForce reed cage, Stage 6 PWK24 mm carb.
• Stage 6 inner rotor ignition – switchable on the fly ignition curves. No charging output, all ignition power focussed on spark, hidden dedicated charging plug.
• Michelin Bopper semi-slick tires.  Lots of stick when warm, hawk race brake pads front and shoes rear.  Stops quickly.
• front and rear independantly switchable headlight/taillight shut-off.
• New lithium battery – charged between rides with a hidden plug and supplied lithium charger.
• Trailtech Vapor w/dashboard light kit all professionally fiberglassed into the BWS dash area.  Looks stock.  Super high quality.
• Aerox radiator with custom bracketry hidden in the front nose, custom made circular grille-work replaces one of the headlights and allows airflow into the radiator.  High output puller fan sits behind the radiator (switchable)
• Aerox water pump replaces the fan and fan shroud that would normally be there in a stock BWS.
• Fiberglassed and refinished inner leg shield – removes the storage pocket, adds venting for the cooling system
• Custom seat – all foam replaced with premium foam and formatted without the normal hump, premium material cover (guyanthony.ca)
• 25+ HP!  90+ MPH Completely dialed in and tuned!

This bike is named Ben Johnson. His name was airbrushed into the side panels before the multiple layers of clear coat.  He drinks only race gas! 🙂
